Design that is easy to read

If you want to use most web sites, you have to be able to read them. The same is true for many other things we use: computer programs, product instructions, timetables, medicine bottles and leaflets.

This web site is a project of researchers, practitioners, and people who have reading difficulties. We want to work together to improve design for people who do not read easily.

At a recent workshop, a group of us produced a framework describing some of the audiences that we research or design for. Please comment on it; read about our previous workshops; or contact us to suggest a new workshop.

We are also beginning to compile some resources for designers, and some personal stories that we hope will inspire you.

Please contact us if you would like to contribute to this project.
